eject: Nurse Reveals Top 5 Regrets of the Dying

kellyoxford:

From Arise India Forum:

“For many years I worked in palliative care. My patients were those who had gone home to die. Some incredibly special times were shared. I was with them for the last three to twelve weeks of their lives

People grow a lot when they are faced with their own…

Here’s a group pic from day one of filming “Ralphie II.” I’ve been brought on as a production assistant. It’s awesome to say the least. It helps that I’ve always had a passion for film; even before the womb. Finally having the opportunity to work with a legitimate film crew is pretty damn sweet. This is just the beginning to my long awaited future in film making. On top of being a crew member for this current project, I was able to nab the lead role in the upcoming short film “FLY.” It’ll be made by the same company behind the Ralphie flicks, Not Quite Hollywood (www.nqh1.com). I auditioned almost two months ago for a part in FLY and I’ve been hoping and hoping ever since. And now it’s solid. Filming for Ralphie II will wrap up at the end of July and filming for FLY will begin in August. I’m PUMPED!!!!!!

California.

Nearly 8 months to the day since I moved here, to Chico, CA. I consider it to be my home base on the west coast. It’s been a tough time, given that I knew only one local resident when I first set foot in this town. Lately, though, things have changed. The past couple of weeks, in particular, have been great for me. I’m starting to leave my mark and I’ve befriended enough people to be considered a local myself. And every time my relocation from New York is a topic of conversation, the same question is always asked: “Why Chico?” - - Apparently I haven’t been here long enough to know how much this town sucks, but I don’t know that I would ever feel like that anyway. I love it here. It’s a great place filled with great people.

LA is where I would like to be in the future [with my romanticized naive ambitions to become an established film actor and electronic musician], but Chico serves well as a stepping stone. People here consider it a small town, but it’s at least two dozen times the size of my hometown, Nunda, NY, three thousand miles away. I love how active and artsy it is here. And now that I’m reaching the point where everyone knows my name, I’ve lost that “newcomer” aroma that used to waft around me everywhere I went. I’m no longer a mysterious “foreigner.” That can be a good thing and/or a bad thing. But either way, I’m glad to be here at this point in my life. Life is good. Even when it’s bad.

One chapter ends. Another begins. (concerning TUbEStAR)

Yo! Tanis here. I think it’s time to let the cat out of the bag… I had secret plans with Nick for me to move home this summer and surprise all my friends. Nick was going to play a show with one of our DJ friends and tell everyone that it was to raise money for me to visit home this Christmas, but really I would have been performing at the show. Surprise! .. but now, things have changed. I realized that I need to stay on the west coast and continue striving towards my original goals. Nick is no longer an official member of the band, but I’ve always viewed him as irreplaceable, so the door will remain infinitely open for him to join up again down the road. This was not an easy choice to make, but we decided that this ultimately is a good thing. I will continue TUbEStAR on the west coast now. All is well. All is well.

Here’s a swift mid-quality mix of a new song I wrote last week. I’m thinking about releasing an updated version as an extra track along with my upcoming “protagonist” release. Enjoy!
